Critical files in multi-boot configurations in DOS 6.x
Question: Once I heard you quote an expert as saying that it was possible to have two CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT files in multi-boot configurations in DOS 6. I’ve tried it but haven’t been able to make it work. What am I doing wrong? –Buddy
Answer: The expert was Mathew Fiszer, a support tech with CompuSmart. He clarifies things: “There is no way you can have multiple CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT files,” he said. “What I meant was you that can have one CONFIG.SYS file and one AUTOEXEC.BAT file, with multiple configurations in each one.”
